Location, location, location

Rocco Forte spent years creating this spectacular resort which lies on a remote stretch of the southern Sicilian coast,west of the ancient port of Sciacca, and close to two of Sicily’s most impressive Greek temple complexes, Agrigento and Selinunte

Wining & Dining

The resort has 4 restaurants and 5 bars, each in their own unique setting with terraces overlooking the scenic hills. Celebrity chef Fulvio Pierangelini runs the hotel’s Mediterranean restaurant, Zagara, which specialises in menus created totally out of local produce.

Away from the Course

Try your hand at the art of Sicilian cooking, with a private lesson and follow it up with a cocktail making class, or take a stroll (or hope on a bike) and head out into the resort’s stunning surrounds of olive, orange and lemon groves.

Chill-Out Time

The resort's beautiful spa is one of the largest and most highly regarded in Europe, offering indivual holistic treatments, or take a dip in one of the Thalassotherapy pools, indoor lap pool and then unwind with a sauna or Hammam.

There are 36 holes at the Verdura Resort however only the  18-hole championship course is currently open with the 2nd course due to reopen in Autumn 21. The course has a number of stunning sea facing holes

and dramatic coastline vistas.  It has recently hosted the Sicilian Open to widespread acclaim and yet it suits all levels of handicap because of the range of tees available .
