Train Suites:
Royal Suites
Royal Suites are the top of the range accommodation with16sqm of space. They are elegant and spacious, boasting a private lounge area and bathroom with bath and separate shower, a fully stocked mini bar and room service available 24 hours a day.
Deluxe Suites
Deluxe Suites are 11sqm and feature either twin or double beds. They have a lounge area and en-suite bathroom with shower, a fully stocked mini bar and room service is available 24 hours a day.
Pullman Suites
The Pullman Suites measure 7 sqm and feature a comfortable sofa-seat during the day which converts to a double or twin beds. They have an en-suite bathroom with shower. a fully stocked mini bar and room service is available 24 hours a day.

Simola’s Jack Nicklaus Signature Course lies in a glorious setting above the beautiful Knysna Lagoon. The course offers an unusual configuration of five par-5s and five par-3s, which creates challenging and enjoyable round.

Itinerary:
Day 1- Check-in at Rovos Rail Station, Pretoria
Depart Pretoria 18.00 The train travels on the eastern line towards the harsh eMalahleni coal-mining area and Middelburg, known as the “stainless steel capital of Africa”
Day 2- At Leisure on Board
A day relaxing on board at the train travels through the spectacular Dracensburg Mountains.

Day 3- Kruger Park
Golfers: Round of golf at White River Golf Club. NB if available Leopard Creek may be booked (at a surcharge).
Non-golfers: Game drive in Kruger Park

Day 4- Eswatini
Golfers: Round of golf on Royal Swasi OR Nkonyeni Golf Club
Non-golfers: Excursion to Swazi Candles and Mantenga Cultural Village with lunch

Day 5- Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park
Full day game drive in the park
Day 6 - Durban
Golfers: Round of morning golf on Durban Country Club OR Mt Edgecombe OR Cotswold Downs​
Non-golfers: Durban city tour, a visit to the botanical gardens and lunch at Umhlanga’s beachfront
In the afternoon the train traverses the beautiful Valley of a Thousand Hills.

Day 7 - Spionkop
Golfers: Round of golf at Champagne Sports Resort
Non-golfers: Excursion to Spionkop Lodge to hear the historic tale of the Battle of Spionkop and walk in the footsteps of Churchill and Gandhi. Enjoy lunch. Afternoon game drive OR relax at the lodge.

Day 8 - Golden Gate National Park and Clarens
Admire the stunning landscapes of golden ochre and orange-hued deeply eroded sandstone cliffs and outcrops, especially the Brandwag Rock. Visit the picturesque town of Clarens then transfer to the Sandstone Heritage Trust, to see the impressive collection of heritage trains, tractors, cars and military vehicles.

Day 9- Bloemfontein
Tour of Bloemfontein including the Women’s Memorial and Anglo Boer War Museum then traverse the Karoo, a vast and beautiful semi-desert stretching across the great South African plateau and descend the Great Escarpment towards the coast.

Day 10- Addo Elephant Park, Humewood
Golfers: Round of golf at Humewood
Non-Golfers: Game drive in Addo Elephant Park, South Africa’s third largest national reserve

Day 11- Knysna
Golfers: Round of Golf at Pezula OR Simola Golf Club
Non-golfers: Excursion to Oudebosch Farm Stall and then on to Knysna for a lagoon ferry ride with lunch

Day 12- Fancourt
Golfers: Round of golf at Fancourt
Non-golfers: Excursion to an ostrich farm followed by lunch and a trip to the world famous Cango Caves in the afternoon.

Day 13 - Cape Town
Travel through the spectacular mountain ranges and scenic winelands of the Western Cape towards the coast before arrival and disembarkation at Cape Town in the early evening.
