Train Suites:
Royal Suites
Royal Suites are the top of the range accommodation with16sqm of space. They are elegant and spacious, boasting a private lounge area and bathroom with bath and separate shower, a fully stocked mini bar and room service available 24 hours a day.
Deluxe Suites
Deluxe Suites are 11sqm and feature either twin or double beds. They have a lounge area and en-suite bathroom with shower, a fully stocked mini bar and room service is available 24 hours a day.
Pullman Suites
The Pullman Suites measure 7 sqm and feature a comfortable sofa-seat during the day which converts to a double or twin beds. They have an en-suite bathroom with shower. a fully stocked mini bar and room service is available 24 hours a day.

Lying in a glorious setting in the foothills of the Outeniqua Mountains, Fancourt has quickly established itself as South Africa's premier golf resorts since its opening in 1991. All three of its magnificent Gary Player designed courses, the Links, the Montagu and the Outeniqua are ranked in South Africa’s top 20, and provide a demanding but fair test set in beautiful surroundings.
Carved around the majestic hippo and crocodile filled lakes, this course is as good as it gets and is on most golfers bucket lists! The championship layout has hosted numerous tournaments including the European Tour's Alfred Dunhill Championship
In designing Oubaai, Ernie Els and his team have taken full advantage of the spectacular landscape to provide a wonderful cliff-side location and high vantage point above rivers and valleys. The Signature hole is the 17th a wonderful Par 3 with an elevated tee and breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean, the ever-changing winds and undulating green guarded by four bunkers make this a tough little hole

Itinerary:
Day 1- Check-in at Rovos Rail Station, Pretoria
Depart Pretoria and start your amazing golf journey as the train traverses the Highveld to the Drakensberg Mountains.

Day 2- Leopard Creek/ Kruger National Park
Golfers: Round of golf on Leopard Creek, newly renovated and in tip top condition. White River or Nelspruit courses are also available.
Non-golfers – Game drive in the Kruger National Park with lunch

Day 3- Hluhluwe Game Drive
Enjoy a game drive in beautiful and unspoint Swaziland before the train continues its journey alongside the St Lucia Wetland Park to Durban

Day 4- Durban
Golfers: Round of golf on Durban Country Club
Non-golfers: City tour of Durban with lunch. From here the train journeys through the Valley of a Thousand Hills to Ladysmith.

Day 5- Champagne Sports Resort/Battlefields
Golfers: Round of golf on Champagne Sports Resort
Non-golfers: Visit the Ladysmith Siege Museum and Spionkop Lodge for a battlefields tour, game drive and lunch. The next stage of the journey to Kroonstad takes you through the magnificent Drakensberg Mountains.

Day 6 - Day at leisure on the train as it continues its journey to the coast

Day 7- Homewood/Addo Elephant Park
Golfers: Round of golf on Humewood Golf Course
Non-golfers: Game drive in Addo Elephant Park. Later, enjoy the train’s impressive descent through the Outeniqua Mountains

Day 8- Fancourt/Oudtshoorn
Golfers: Round of golf at Fancourt
Non-Golfers: Ostrich-farm visit in Oudtshoorn followed by disembark for dinner at the Fancourt Estate.

Day 9- Oubaai/Knysna
Golfers: Round of Golf at Ernie Els Oubaai Golf Course
Non-golfers: Morning at leisure in Knysna/ferry ride to Featherbed.

Day 10- Day at Leisure
Day at leisure traversing the Cape Fold Mountains before the journey ends on Platform 23 at Cape Town Station.
